  In all the medical and dental experiences I have had over the course of my life I have never had a doctor show the level of compassion, attention, and care that Dr. Angela Blizzard demonstrated before, during and after my treatment. I came to her for resolution of an implant that had been improperly installed. Dr. Blizzard clearly explained what the potential steps would be to remove the implant and the process by which the new one would be put in place. During the removal surgery Dr. Blizzard found that she was unable remove the old implant by back-torquing it because there was something wrong with the threads inside it. She ended up having to router the bone down so that she could engage the removal tool from the outside of the implant; this is the most invasive approach, only used if all other removal methods are unsuccessful. I required re-numbing 3 or 4 times over the course of the surgery. Dr. Blizzard communicated with me regularly during the entire process to make sure I was doing okay. The surgery took place on a Friday morning and Dr. Blizzard called multiple times over the weekend to check on me. She made sure I had her direct number in case there were any issues. I did not want to take any narcotic pain meds as I have a young child at home so Dr. Blizzard worked diligently to set up my pain management in a way that met my needs. The subsequent surgery for the new implant went perfectly and I am as happy as it is possible to be with the outcome. Dr. Blizzard’s experience, professionalism, and ability to communicate effectively, not to mention her fantastic patient care makes her THE BEST choice if you need this kind of work.
